As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing processes and operations within our organization. This position involves collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. Your expertise in troubleshooting, process improvement, and technical support will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams, addressing issues related to equipment, processes, and production lines.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.

  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.

Process Improvement:

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality.

  • Identify opportunities for optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and increasing overall productivity.

  • Implement process changes and evaluate their impact on production metrics.

Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manufacturing processes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, equipment uptime, and quality metrics.

Training and Documentation:

  • Train manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, troubleshooting guides, and equipment manuals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Participate in design reviews, providing valuable input based on practical manufacturing knowledge.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field and/or combination of work history and education

  • 2-4 year’s experience and/or training in safe work environments, union work environments, capital improvement, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency.


  • Technical Capacity.

  • Problem Solving/Analysis.

  • Communication Proficiency.

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.

  • Competencies: initiative, collaboration/partnership, written communication, attention to detail, flexibility, and professionalism.

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $20.00/hr. - $28.00/hr. depending on experience
