Position Summary

  • The Manager II position is part of the site's Quality Compliance team and will focus on ensuring site readiness for internal and partner audits, as well as health authority inspections (FDA, EMA, PMDA, etc). The position will be responsible for supporting the regulatory launch requirements for current and future New Product Introductions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Support the regulatory and product launch requirements for existing and future New Product Introductions.

  • Dossier documentation in support of clinical launch inspection readiness

  • Regulatory gap assessments for clinical launch market inspections

  • Support audit and inspection management logistics and SME preparation program.

  • Support the end-to-end readiness activities, including preparation and strategy sessions, instructor led training for SMEs and managing audit and inspection related logistics.

  • Ensure site personnel readiness by scheduling and conducting mock review sessions with subject matter experts.

  • Support cross function activities focusing on development, review, approval and submission of responses for inspection and audit findings.

  • Monitor and report status of remediation actions resulting from audit and inspection findings and drive efforts to ensure on-time completion.

  • Review, analyze and distribute regulatory inspection data and trending issued by regulatory authorities to ensure proactive compliance across the organization.

  • Support the coordination of document requests to support Health Authority Submission

  • Support of site Notification to Management and Health Authority submission.

  • Support the development and execution of the site Self-inspection schedule

  • Identification and execution of continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Compliance programs.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to Associate Director, Quality Compliance, Cell Therapy Quality at Bothell Site.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant Quality or Manufacturing experience in a GMP/FDA regulated environment.

  • Experience leading and performing internal or third-party audits preferred.

  • Management and participation in health authority inspections preferred.

  • Experience in building end to end inspection readiness programs preferred.

  • ASQ Auditor Certification preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent discipline or combined equivalent work experience and education.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $108,000 to $135,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
