Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our machinery. We have opportunities on both swing and day shifts to suit your schedule. On the swing shift, your primary responsibility will be conducting preventive maintenance checks to keep our machinery at peak performance. You will also collaborate with technicians on troubleshooting and special projects. For the day shift, you will plan and tackle repairs on pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and building equipment. You will have the independence to handle challenging projects and lead newer team members.

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years of production machine maintenance experience or trade school/military school for swing shift

  • For day shift: 4+ years of experience in an industrial machine maintenance role or 4+ years of trade or military school related to industrial mechanical and/or electrical repair

  • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems

  • Metal fabrication (design, layout, cutting, and welding multiple material types)

  • Able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, and complex instruction sets

  • Proficiency with major personal computer programs and operating systems (Windows, word processors, spreadsheets, databases, CMMS) and Maximo

Soft Skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently

  • Leadership skills
