Aston Carter Inventory Manager in Bothell, Washington

Job Title: Inventory ManagerJob Description

Provide day-to-day direction and supervision of direct reports, establishing priorities and responsibilities to maximize value. Conduct performance evaluations, develop employee plans, and manage salary reviews and compensation recommendations. Make critical hiring, discipline, and termination decisions. Convert sales forecasts into resource demands, collaborating with Sales and Operations to create and maintain effective production and inventory plans. Monitor and maintain inventory location control accuracy, optimize container types and quantities for better space utilization, and continuously improve the cost-effectiveness of inventory labeling, transactions, and reporting. Assist regional warehouses with their inventory requirements.

Hard Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in Materials Management

  • Experience managing multiple locations

  • Experience solving inventory-related problems in previous work experience

  • Must be focused on Inventory management rather than purchasing/Supply Chain

  • Background in Manufacturing, specifically in sectors like Aerospace or Biotech, excluding Retail

Soft Skills

  • Hands-on leadership
