Job Description Contributes to the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive wildfire risk assessment and mitigation program. Helps define/inform and communicate strategic priorities and project plans to ensure effective execution. Provides ongoing monitoring and evaluation to ensure transparency into program status, progress, and risks. Oversees complex financial management, including cost accounting and investment tracking, to ensure accurate and centralized tracking of investment dollars across multiple operating groups. Develops and delivers reports to various parties, providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Project Management and Coordination Serves as a liaison between the Wildfire Risk Management team and the project delivery leads throughout the company. Collaborates with project leads to deliver progress reporting of large and small projects contained within the wildfire mitigation program. Works with Project Managers to understand status and emerging risks relative to project budget, cost and schedule impacts. Works in collaboration with project delivery leads to ensure quality and consistency of project management activities. Serves as "portfolio lead" for a suite of Wildfire Program projects, including identifying, engaging, and collaborating with matrixed resources to ensure completion of prioritized projects/tasks. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management. Supports project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management efforts. Demonstrates the commitment to deliver results on essential work with a small team and on tight deadlines. Budgeting and Cost Tracking Works across the enterprise to ensure cost tracking and Wildfire Program forecasting is appropriately occurring in the wildfire cost center. Ensures the appropriate balancing of forecasts within PSE's financial systems with other wildfire-related cost centers to avoid duplication. Provides budgetary review, reconciliation/approval and general oversight for wildfire related expenditures, including providing monthly O&M and capital forecasts on a rolling basis. Strategic Guidance Provides strategic guidance to teams and program managers in ways that champion the company's priorities, strategies and values. Helps to inform project/task prioritization, staffing strategy, and the development of wildfire program goals. Mentors and develops other Project Managers. Excels in developing program strategy and project sequencing in an environment with evolving priorities, technologies, and cross functional collaboration to achieve success Supports emergency response work as requested Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience Eight years of experience
