About the Job

Genie is currently seeking a Field Marketing Manager for North America (US & Canada) to provide leadership of trade shows, product launches, customer experiences, and demand generation strategies to join the Genie Global Field Marketing team.

Our Field Marketing Manager will play a key role in maintaining industry leader position (# 1 or 2) in the North American market, through value-based marketing initiatives and product positioning, effective coverage/ channels, supported by a world-class marketing management system. He/She will be responsible to co-create strong go-to-market plans in close collaboration with the Global Director of Field Marketing, the local Sales Teams, Product Management as well as other Marketing functions. His/Her mission will be that of extending reach of our sales teams, increase revenue /market shares , build new relationships, strengthen product and brand reputation.

This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary and dynamic marketing leadership position. The ideal candidate is passionate about bringing creative ideas to life that yield measurable results, with a drive for continuous improvement; prefers to work in an environment that emphasizes ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity; and loves to problem solve, experiment, measure and use automation to make daily life easier.

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be T he face of Genie Marketing in North America to customers and business partners – collectively, the Field – and you are crucial to the business to bring the voice of the customer back into Genie. You will be responsible for knowing the customers, the offerings, and the market trends – what’s important to whom and why and how Genie can uniquely bring value to the client.

This position is located at the Genie Global Headquarters in Bothell, WA.

What you will do :

  • Be responsible for go-to-market planning and execution

  • Plan, implement, measure and improve campaigns: product launches, lead generation, sales generation, awareness...

  • Put systems in place, monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing activities

  • Leverage and execute an appropriate mix of campaign tactics including trade shows, events, roundtables, email, webinars, paid ads, etc while managing within a budget allocation

  • Collaborate proactively as part of a globally distributed team and agency partners

  • Build, maintain and project manage a marketing content calendar

  • Work with the marketing operations team to manage leads for marketing programs

  • Nurture a trusted relationship with Sales and Product Management and serve as primary contact for North America Marketing

  • Support strategy and execution around product launches and demand generation including value proposition development, sales training, and coordination of marketing deliverables.

  • Organize and execute product photo- and video-shoots (incl. location scouting, photo-/videographer briefing, machines booking, on-site supervision)

  • Ensure the Genie collateral and website for North America is always up-to-date with the current product information, with the help of the Marketing Operations team

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field

  • 2-3 years related experience in Marketing/Sales/Product Management

  • F lexibility in working with different time zones

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (Primarily North America)

  • Ability to work Bothell, WA

  • Strong interpersonal skills - team player with a positive attitude, providing superior customer service to external and internal customers, think outside of the box

  • Can effectively collaborate, communicate and speak-up within a wide range of stakeholder, taking direction and initiatives in a cross-functional team environment. Navigate ambiguity, solve problems and identify risks.

  • Demonstrated self-starter and ability to create and follow efficient management processes while creating visual status reporting, measurements and KPI with the purpose of improving and gain in efficiency/productivity

  • Willing to handle multiple projects simultaneously and extremely organized. Efficient multi-tasking abilities, attention to details, excellent follow-through with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines

  • Written skills and experience producing written content. Proven ability to present compelling narratives in public settings and to internal audiences

  • Comfortable with product launch planning and tactical execution

  • Genuine passion for understanding customers and what drives them to make purchase decisions
