We are looking for a motivated and creative leader to help shape and support our mission. The Facility Security Officer manages the Security Program for GD-OTS Seattle ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), and other government and contractual security requirements. Supports and advises management and employees regarding Security policies, procedures and practices. Maintains a working relationship with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Major Position Responsibilities Coordinates and communicates security policies and procedures to Seattle employees and coordinates issues with local management. Develops and maintains all security-related personnel, investigation and administrative files. Investigates and reports security violations. Manages personnel security clearances and periodic re-investigations using DISS/NBIS and EQIP/EAPP. Performs Industrial Security Facilities Database validations and manages the site cage code profile via NISS. Manages inventory of classified holdings and classified information system as the dedicated site ISSM. Provides security awareness education training and annual refresher training to all personnel. Manages the site Communications Security (COMSEC) Program. Manages Operations Security (OPSEC) Program and facility access control badging system. Works closely with the business unit Security team. Manages the Insider Threat Program and other Site Security Duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Must have an associates degree. Preferrably has educated in Operations Security/Cybersecurity. Must have one (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Facility Security Officer. Must have an active SECRET Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Completion of the FSO Program Management course via CDSE preferred. Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Communications Security (COMSEC) Procedures and Operations Security (OPSEC). Maintains confidentiality and works within the highest level of integrity, ethics and safety. Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications. Familiarity with using government security sites. Pay Range (USD) $62,188.89 - $93,283.34 Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
