Aston Carter Buyer (Bothell, WA) in Bothell, Washington


A leading medical device company is seeking a skilled buyer with a minimum of three years of experience for a 9-month contract located onsite in Bothell, WA. Only LOCAL candidates can be considered for the position.


• Place purchase orders for direct & indirect materials while ensuring supplier commitments are met.

• Manage assigned inventory within predefined Min/Max levels and countermeasures as needed.

• Negotiates with suppliers to mitigate potential delivery issues before escalating to leadership.

• Analyze supplier responses and make recommendations to businesses when there are constraints.

• Closely monitor supplier OTD and escalate as needed.

• Escalate EOL/LTB decisions and associated supplier negotiations (e.g. pricing, lead time).

• Collaborate with A/P team members to promptly reconcile PO/invoice discrepancies.

• Work with the MRB team to process RTVs in a timely fashion.

• Respond to and update ECRs and ECOs as needed.

• Work with Suppliers and Verathon employees to return non-conforming material to suppliers (RMA Returns).

• Identify potential supply chain risks and offer creative solutions.

• Participate in Supplier Business Review meetings as needed.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Negotiation with Suppliers.

• MRP & ERP Proficiency.

• Experience with Purchasing as well as direct and indirect purchasing.

Duration: 9 Months

Pay: 30-35 an hour

Location: Bothell, WA only LOCAL candidates will be considered
