Job Title: Business Systems Analyst IIJob Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst II who will be responsible for analyzing current and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. This is a 100% remote position with the possibility of occasional onsite meetings. The role involves coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance, and coordinating testing and system controls. The ideal candidate will work independently on larger, moderately complex projects and assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.

  • Formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.

  • Execute user acceptance and coordinate testing and system controls.

  • Develop solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge.

  • Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas, including project managers and other technical resources.

  • Explain technical solutions, practices, and procedures to others within the organization.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Experience with Prosci’s ADKAR model.

  • Knowledge of BABOK standards.

  • Experience with RFP, CCBA, and CBAP.

  • Experience with Oracle Work.

  • Minimum of 7 years of business analysis experience implementing technology and business projects within the utility industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • Experience with business process modeling, workflows, and data analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience working with implementing COTS systems and/or replacement of legacy systems.

  • Work and Asset Management application experience in a Business Analyst capacity.

  • Strong elicitation and communication skills.

  • Experience applying BPMN and business process visualization.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position with the possibility of occasional onsite meetings, requiring travel to the headquarters as needed. The ideal candidate would be located in Seattle or nearby areas such as Oregon, Idaho, or eastern Washington, to facilitate travel for special meetings 2-3 days a month.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.50/hr.
