Location: Sumner, WA Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9 am - 5:30 pm Pay: $20.67 - $25.96 Position The Engineering Technician supports the Engineering team and production in assessing, analyzing, and resolving issues in the manufacturing process. The Engineering Technician Will Support and work with Manufacturing Engineers. Work closely with production leadership and team members to assess and analyze ongoing issues. Interact with production floor workers and production management to Identify root cause and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications 1 year or more of experience Strong problem-solving abilities Able to learn new information/material quickly Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Highly proficient in MS Office applications Preferred Qualifications Experience with GD&T a plus Exposure to industrial manufacturing or composite manufacturing a plus Familiarity with different molding processes beneficial Two-year technical degree Document Control systems or CAD experience a plus Working Conditions While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime). Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee's position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
