GET READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS!MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-3PM$18.50/HR temp-hireCALL/TEXT the STAFFMARK MAIN BRANCH TO START RIGHT AWAY! 425-687-6362Job summary:The Material Handler/Lumper position focuses on loading and unloading merchandise up to 50lbs in accordance to established safety, performance and accuracy standards as well as employment guidelines while meeting the department's standards of productivity.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Verifies container information according to the Execution report.* Unloads container by separating each case by style, size, and color and placing in a separate pallet for each.* Accurately builds each pallet to the correct standard Tie High as specified on the Execution report* Stages pallets on the dock using a manual pallet jack.* Determines if pallets are ready to be shrinking wrapped by identifying case quantity on upper right hand side of the pallet.* Shrink wrapping staged pallets* Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and moved.* Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.* Maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times* Performing other duties as assigned* Cross train in other departments as needed.* Meets department standards at all times* Able to work nights, weekends, and possible holidays as needed* Overtime may be required of all employees with little or no advance notice.I. Physical Requirements* Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis.* Must be able to pull and push up to 40 Lbs. Weight requirements may vary across department and function.* Must be able to use hands and fingers for repetitive movements. Some departments require finger dexterity and strong grip.II. Work Environment* Open to elements of noise and moving machinery.* Occasional cold and heat, depending on the season.* Exposed to little but some fumes and odors, contingent on the department assigned to.* Frequent exposure to dust.* Some exposure to wetness and humidity.* Most departments are on an 8 hour shift with some on a 10 hour shift. Overtime may be required of all employees with little or no advance notice* Flexibility to work any schedule, shift, weekdays, and weekends.
