Compensation Range:55,000-62,000 Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose Provides engineering support for the testing, qualification and troubleshooting of the complete line of Alpha power products. Performs a variety of moderately complex analytical and mechanical tasks using standard and specialized test equipment as well as the ability to produce comprehensive graphical reports detailing the results of those tests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Setup and execution of detailed product verification and validation test plans, including customer qualifications. Collection and processing of data into graphical format to be used in final test reports. Solve mechanical or electronic problems involved in the operational testing of the product Assist in general laboratory work, including but not limited to general maintenance and upkeep of lab equipment Develop experiments and fixtures for product troubleshooting and design with minimal instruction Battery testing setup, test process management and data processing as needed Creation of test setup "as built" block diagrams/schematics Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2 Year Degree electronics or electrical systems or equivalent military training 6-8 years' experience in field of power supplies/power electronics Demonstrated capability of using all standard lab test equipment (oscilliscope, spectrum analyzer, data acquisition, etc) Good communication and teamwork skills Previous experience in power electronics product development High proficiency in data processing using tools like Excel Desirable Qualifications Experience with Lab View CAD experience (Altium) Energy storage testing experience General Job Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch. Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions. Risk of electrical shock. Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
