This Recruiter is responsible for divisional recruitment, onboarding, and training. The Bellingham Recruiter works closely with the Operations Manager, Personnel Director, and the Recruitment Team.

Essential Functions:
Design and manage overall recruitment strategy
Assist and train Recruitment Specialist, as needed
Identify and implement best advertising practices
Oversee standard job ad templates
Develop and maintain open position advertising
Manage applicant tracking system to track, rate, and manage applicants through the recruitment process
Research competitor offers and provide input on job market competition
Provide analytical and well documented recruitment reports and metrics to management
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection
Identify and develop practices to reduce overall candidate loss
Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment related vendors
Travel to all regions as needed, for hiring, training, and onboarding
Conduct in-person interviews of qualified applicants
Select and offer conditional offers of hires to qualified applicants
Run applicable background checks and review hire paperwork prior to submission
Conduct pre-hire training classes for security officer licensing
Conduct specialized training classes with client personnel to fulfill client contracts
Develop and instruct specialized training classes that can be retailed to clients or the public
Maintain local and national qualifications for training development
Research, revise, implement, and teach training courses required by law
Evaluate training effectiveness and revise programs, as needed
Implement training programs that effectively meet or exceed federal and state requirements that reduce company liability and risk. Examples of necessary training programs for company employees: OSHA safety, HIPAA, harassment, blood borne pathogens, asbestos, cleaning methods, SDS, company policies, professional ethics, first aid/CPR/AED, MOAB, driving courses, defensive tactics, control tactics, chemical agents, handcuffing, straight/expandable baton, TASER, de-escalation, etc. process
Improve employee retention and morale by offering company recognized awards and certifications
Conduct interpersonal training classes for company managers and supervisors, as needed
Research partnerships and interactive learning environments that reduce travel, time, and cost while meeting state required hiring laws
