PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Manager Community Physician Wellbeing for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25 – $66.37. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Job Summary

As part of PeaceHealth's physician well-being strategy, the Program Manager is responsible for implementation of the strategy as envisioned by physician leadership. The Program Manager provides program development, management, and evaluation. This position will build, implement, and facilitate programs that support all community physicians and APPs to provide the highest quality care in an environment that is enjoyable, meaningful, and focused on wellness. The Program Manager is responsible for building a sustainable structure for long term longevity of the strategy. Collaboration with medical staff services, medical leadership and Human Experience will be an essential function of this role.

Essential Functions

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and management of PeaceHealth’s physician wellbeing initiatives in assigned Medical Center community, including but not limited to program design, coordination of services, and budget management.

  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of programs as they relate to participation and improved participant well-being. Identifies and collects meaningful data to measure success and share results with key stakeholders.

  • Coordinates (and facilitates as needed) discussions with leaders and impacted physicians in the development of foundational programs to ensure design meets the needs of those impacted.

  • Manages all communication activities, including but not limited to authoring regular communications to stakeholders, maintaining distribution lists, and calendar of engagement activities.

  • In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, promotes a culture of well-being, in all aspects of healthcare culture and through the implementation of tactics.

  • Identifies opportunities and takes action to build strategic relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, and units to achieve business goals.

  • Partners effectively with stakeholders as appropriate. Coordinates wellbeing programs and activities and facilitates as appropriate.

  • Develops grant proposals for continuance of programming. Identifies prospective foundations and grant prospects and prepares material in partnership with Grants Manager and fundraising staff.

  • Stays abreast of best practices and scientific research in physician wellbeing and health promotion.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Services, Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.

  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Organizational Development or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Required: Increasing responsible program experience in development and/or coordination of programming in healthcare arena and

  • Minimum of 2 years Preferred: Experience in program development or health promotion or relevant experience in wellness program management
