Locating patients in advance of physician visitMedical billing; insurance authorizations, communication with entitiesConduct blood draws Complete requisition formsDeliver tests to the labQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be a licensed Certified Medical Assistant in this state.Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.Knowledge of the meaning and usage of common medical abbreviations, symbols and terms relative to the administration of medications.Work positively with staff to coordinate care and physician work flowFacility InformationSt. Francis of Bellingham is a long-standing skilled nursing community nestled along Bellingham Bay with views of the Cascade Mountains.
