Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham has partnered with a local company in Bellingham. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with a broad knowledge of basic bookkeeping functions to join our team. The bookkeeper will work in cooperation with, and with the support of, our staff accountant who handles the higher-level accounting functions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Entering bills, writing checks, arranging EFT payments
- Computing commissions
- Recording Visa payments and Visa account reconciliation
- Recording deposits
- Allocate credit card fees to jobs
- Arranging wire payments
- Record customer payments
- Bank reconciliations
- WA Department of Revenue reports/payments (quarterly)
- Job costing and preparation of P&L by job
Payroll duties might be added at some point
