Operations Assistant -Offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry, contributing to the provision of essential medical equipment and services. This position offers a competitive compensation package and flexible hours totaling 30 hours per week. - Join a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance coverage for patients and process insurance claims efficiently.
Manage employee chart follow-up, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Handle third-party billing procedures with attention to detail and adherence to regulations.
Perform Medicaid billing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including reconciliations and collections.
Post transactions in QuickBooks software accurately.
Complete daily bank deposits with precision and integrity.
Requirements:
Previous experience in insurance verification and medical billing, preferably in the durable medical equipment industry.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
