OH MA Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-371437 Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ferndale, WA Top Skills You Should Possess: * Successful completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program from an accredited and recognized educational institution. * BLS Certification * Ability to work M-F, 7am-4:30pm What You'll Be Doing: * Conducting comprehensive physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit assessments, and various specialized tests as required. * Proficiently performing basic lab tests and adeptly handling specimen preparation, medication administration, injections, blood draws, splinting, and dressing applications. * Ensuring the readiness of examination rooms and maintaining optimal stock levels of medical supplies to guarantee exceptional patient care. * Collaborating seamlessly with attending medical providers during examinations and medical procedures. * Seamlessly managing administrative duties, such as patient scheduling, telephone inquiries, and meticulous upkeep of patient charts. * Upholding unwavering compliance with both state and federal regulations, encompassing professional certification requirements, patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, and adherence to treatment and safety protocols. * Assisting in COVID-related responsibilities, including temperature screenings, questionnaires, vital sign assessments, and testing. * Demonstrating versatility by actively contributing to both front and back-office duties as assigned. What You Need to Bring to the Table: * Successful completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program from an accredited and recognized educational institution. * A valid and up-to-date Medical Assistant (MA) certificate that aligns with the stipulations set forth by the State Medical Board. * Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification coupled with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) proficiency. * Clinical experience that serves as a valuable asset, demonstrating your dedication to enhancing patient care. * Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred Any pay ranges displayed are estimations which may have been provided by job boards.
