JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Institutional Research Coordinator (Full-time, 12 months) Opening Date: December 16, 2021 Review Date: Extended to January 21, 2022 Closing Date: Open until filled Location: Lummi Site Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 Max DOE The salary placement upon hire will be based on the selected candidate's education and relevant work experience as outlined in the job announcement and the established salary schedule for the classification of position to be filled. SCOPE OF WORK This position is responsible for providing professional level support to projects and initiatives conducted within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Sponsored Programs relating to institutional research, assessment, accreditation and strategic planning. This position will design, implement and statistically analyze institutional research projects and initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *The Coordinator will plan, design, and implement research, assessment, and evaluation studies to support overall institutional effectiveness with an emphasis including, but not limited to; student recruitment, retention, and learning as well as other institutional departments. *Complete and assist with institutional reports including but not limited to: *Student success report *Annual non-academic assessment reports *AIMS/AKIS (American Indian Measures of Success/AIMS Key Indicator System) *Post-Secondary Data Partnership *IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) *CourseEval *Institutional Report Card *NWIC Quick Facts *NWCCU (Northwest Commission on College and Universities) Reports *Develop reports and conduct research to satisfy ad-hoc queries from NWIC employees and external organizations, including identifying benchmark institutions and comparable data sets. *Manage the College’s data and work with the Data Management Team to improve the accuracy and integrity of data including student course evaluations and reports. *Train staff regarding the retrieval, analysis and use of data using including, but not limited to: *Infomaker *Post-Secondary Partnership *Connect *Utilize the Indigenous Evaluation Framework regarding overall assessment and reporting. *Create survey templates for institutional use including, but not limited to: *Alumni Survey *Graduate Survey *Non-Returning Student Survey *Program Assessment *Student Learning Survey *Code and synthesize survey data and analyze data results for reporting. *Responsible for updating and editing the content for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Indigenous Evaluation and Assessment webpage. *Help organize community focus groups at all NWIC sites including note taking, synthesis and dissemination. *Other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
