The Field Support Sales Representative will work in conjunction with the Community Outreach Specialist in all aspects of marking and sales, including establishing, maintaining, and cultivating positive referral source relationships in order to achieve budgeted admissions and census.

  • Work in conjunction with Community Outreach Specialist on Quarterly Strategic Plans that will drive successful, specific outcomes.

  • Work under the current COS to relieve certain tasks that will allow the COS to continue to grow and develop new and existing accounts.

  • May be assigned specific, strategic accounts to provide consistent warm hand-offs and collection of clean and accurate paperwork.

  • The FSR program will be supported by a predicted growth rate of 15%.

  • If time allows, support in-take and serve as potential back up for PTO.

  • Coordinate, prepare and provide educational materials in support of COS.

  • Represent Signature Home Health and Hospice at business and community marketing and networking events such as but not limited to, the Administrator’s Meeting, the local Chamber events, Senior Fairs and Health Fairs.

  • Meet daily with COS to keep abreast on current duties, events and any needs that may arise.

  • Make joint, specific calls on key customers with COS.

  • Provide periodic updates and presentations on current accounts.

  • Make recommendations to current Signature Programs for providing better patient outcomes.

  • Submit all required documents and paperwork timely.

  • During certain times periods the FSR may need to take calls after hours and on weekends.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.

  • Healthcare marketing experience, preferably in hospice, home health and home care operations.

  • Demonstrate upward mobility and the desire to be part of a mentoring program.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

  • Ability to manage payer mix of patients.

  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.

  • Autonomous, organized, assertive, flexible and cooperative.

  • Efficient time management and territory management skills.

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology.

  • Must live in assigned geographic area.
