About the Position
Seeking ambitious, hard-working, experienced excavator Operator to join our new project team in Mt. Home, Idaho. Experience operating 200-470 sized excavators, safely.
Must be willing to work other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor. This person must be willing to carry out company policies and values while thriving in a team setting.
Project Overview: Clean up site near Bellingham waterfront.

Compensation and Benefits
Wage: local prevailing hourly rate
Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
Responsibilities

Work with ground personnel in the excavation
Ensure the trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade as needed
Ensure safe work procedures are followed with careful attention to operation near ground personnel and equipment
Excavate and backfill around existing utilities with precision
Understanding of soil types
Daily work plans, reports, and timecards
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or company security operations for the protection of people and property.
Location & commitments
Project Location – Bellingham, WA
8–10-hour shifts
Overtime will be available
Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones
Requirements and Qualifications
Current and valid driver’s license
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Experience with pothole procedure, pipeline, and grade compaction.
2 years experience operating 200-470 sized excavators, safely.
Knowledge of safe excavation, trenching, and shoring practices
Experience with rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
Lift 50+ pounds
Pre-employment drug testing required
Criminal background check required
Adhere to all safety requirements
