Accounts Payable Associate
The Accounts Payable Associate processes Vendor invoices and all related requirements.
SCOPE OF POSITION
The Accounts Payable Associate reports to the Accounts Payable Lead.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare and process vendor invoices
Prepare and process vendor check runs and wire payments
Accounts payable filing
Other responsibilities as assigned
Promote and support 5s+1, Kaizen, and other Zodiac sponsored Lean activities.
Participate and contribute to 5s+1 and Lean activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required
Higher level accounting/finance coursework desired
Minimum 3 years of high volume accounts payable processing experience required, preferably for a manufacturing company
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience using an ERP system (M3/Lawson is a plus)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work OT as needed during high customer/vendor demand
Normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Standard workweek sometimes exceeds 40 hours/week.
