STV Incorporated West Strategic Pursuit Manager in Bellevue, Washington

STV is seeking a Mega Strategic Pursuit Manager focused on driving STV's growth across the West, as outlined in our Strategic Plan. This role involves spearheading marketing campaigns and competitive positioning for opportunities in the Transportation market. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office), preferred offices in Los Angeles, CA or Seattle/Bellevue, WA. You will champion major pursuits and drive the overall competitive positioning and sales process, including the management of pursuit teams focused on client engagement, capture planning, strategy development, and innovative delivery to achieve winning results for our top pursuits. As a leader of strategic pursuits, you will research market trends, new technologies, and potential clients in the targeted growth market, collaborating with internal subject matter experts to define the company's value proposition and strategic offering. Critical to this role is the ability to shape strategies to successfully compete in new markets and geographies. Specific responsibilities include: This position will lead the marketing and sales efforts for specific major opportunities and market initiatives for STV. Travel is anticipated to be up to 25% of the time. As the facilitator and leader of mega pursuits, hands-on leadership in all phases of strategy development and competitive positioning is required, including: Pursuit Management: Leading and supporting large, complex pursuits in transportation, buildings, water, and program/construction management. This includes facilitating team strategy, early positioning, competitive assessment, SWOT analysis, communications and media strategy, teaming, and applying innovative solutions and digital tools Team Facilitation: Coordinating and interfacing with teaming partners and internal technical leads, including thought leaders, subject matter experts, discipline managers, and joint venture members, as needed Proposal and Presentation Strategy: Developing creative ideas to showcase differentiators, utilizing enhanced graphic/media applications, and providing coaching for presentation delivery to individuals and teams Production Oversight: Overseeing proposal managers and pursuit team support to ensure the execution of strategy throughout all phases of proposal and presentation development Strategic/Business Planning: Leading the development of strategic plans targeting new growth opportunities in emerging markets and geographies, including investments, resource needs, branding/visibility plans, media campaigns, and tactical actions Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing successful pursuits and/or broad market growth initiatives in the engineering, architecture, construction, or service industry Experience in a pursuit management or growth initiative lead role for programs over $500M in construction value Excellent oral and written communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and sales strategy development Facilitation and leadership skills in team environments Required Education/Accreditation: Bachelor's degree in a related professional field such as business development, marketing, communications, or a similar field Candidates may substitute comparable experience for educational requirements Compensation Range: $138,562.00 - $184,750.00 Don't meet every single requirement?
