What you'll do...

As a Software Engineer, you will have day-to-day responsibility for development and deployment of complex technical objects around the world. This includes analyze , design , develop , test Python and FastAPI micro- services to help build out our internal GenAI chatbot, My Assistant . You'll manage the progress of the technical objects in a project and adapt as risks and issues arise. Your role will require clear communication on all potential and current project technical issues and provide future proof solutions. Additional responsibilities include evaluating application performance for efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll do:

• A dhere to all relevant coding guidelines (Ex: code review processes, code branching strategies, reusability etc.) while writing/configuring code.

• Create/configure minimalistic (Less Complex, Highly Robust and high quality) code for a component/module under guidance.

• Identify repetitive and routine tasks in (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) CI/CD, Testing or any other process that can be automated. Implement telemetry features as required under guidance.

• Apply security policy requirements to component/module during code development/configuration.

• I dentify and create test cases for the task/story , and m ap test cases to business and functional requirements.

• Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the component/module under guidance by leveraging relevant test automation techniques.

• E valuate test results against desired performance, standards, and usability outcomes.

• Detect and document defects, bugs and errors for the component/module and conduct analysis to determine source of error under guidance.

• Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks for the application under guidance .

• C arry out routine maintenance of applications under guidance; Comprehend applicable application monitoring metrics (for example transaction time, system response, transaction volume etc.) and can track and analyze them under guidanc e

• Assist in performing maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering activities; Understand the concept to Maintenance Debt and implications on allied areas.

• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

What you'll bring:

• Familiarity with Python , LLMs, API Design, Cloud technologies ( Azure or GCP ), Docker and or Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Quality, merging tools and technologies; Telemetry; CI / CD .

• Experience with Test case preparation; Code Coverage; Test Coverage.

• Knowledge of Different Machine Learning Deployment Techniques, operating systems; Software maintenance tools and techniques; Application monitoring tools and techniques; Debugging tools; Mock screen; Pseudocodes; Reverse Engineering; Traceability matrix; System performance, security, integration; Data migration and accessibility; Design Methodologies; Telemetry.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
