Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected salary of $95,700 & $126,850/ year plus bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Maintain financial operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing standards and procedures; monitoring adherence; establishing and monitoring transaction processing systems; meeting volume objectives; resolving transaction discrepancies; planning and directing the receipt, investigation, evaluation, and settling of complaints; managing staff.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the annual financial planning process and ongoing forecasting

  • Develop tools in support of the planning process including financial models and planning templates (annual and ongoing)

  • Support ongoing financial forecasting (volume and spend)

  • Perform pricing analytics to understand the effect on brand mix and gross margin

  • Develop pre/post analysis of incremental program investments

  • Leverage analytics to influence pricing and promotional decisions

  • Manage the reconciliation process for supplier funding activities and contributory spending

  • Ongoing margin reviews to support the profit-driven incentive model

  • Profit &Loss management and development

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the overall delivery of reporting across the business units

  • Producing thorough, accurate and timely budget and expense management reports for the organization

  • Provide ongoing reporting and insight on trade spend trends

  • Review innovation forecasts and launch supports for accuracy and effectiveness

  • Manage supplier funds, the rate per case modeling, accrual process

  • Oversee and evaluate the activities of the finance staff, and provide guidance for their professional development

  • Manage, perform accounting and provide reporting on all entity grants and bank funds

  • Provide monthly and yearly discount spend tracking, reporting, analysis, and business commentary

  • Implement a process to build brand budgets from the bottom up (annual and ongoing)

  • Implement ongoing risk and opportunity process

  • Analyze and interpret financial information for planning and control purposes

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree plus five years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
