The Kuiper Production Operations team is seeking an experienced System Development Manager for ServiceNow to lead the ServiceNow platform's strategy, implementation, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in System Development, ITSM best practices, and team leadership, ensuring the platform aligns with business needs while maintaining high security, scalability, and performance standards.
Key job responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Platform Strategy: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ServiceNow, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and scales with Kuiper's rapid growth.
Team Management & Mentorship: Lead a team of ServiceNow developers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
ServiceNow Platform Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
Development & Automation: Drive custom development efforts, scripting, and automation using JavaScript, Glide, and ServiceNow APIs to enhance platform capabilities and streamline workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring smooth integrations with third-party tools and enterprise systems.
Security & Compliance: Ensure the ServiceNow environment adheres to security best practices, compliance requirements, and internal governance policies.
Performance Optimization & Reporting: Monitor platform health, build custom reports and dashboards, and provide insights to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
A day in the life
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving both strategic and tactical aspects of ServiceNow at Kuiper. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to shape the platform’s evolution. A typical day may include leading program meetings, defining project milestones, tracking progress, engaging with leadership on priorities, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure seamless execution of platform improvements. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Experience with GovCloud, FedRAMP, ITAR, or CUI compliance and security requirements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
