If you want to standardize complex multi-dimensional problem solving at a global scale and deliver autonomously, then continue reading.

Global Infra Svcs team defines and manages the delivery of Kuiper ground infrastructure globally. We facilitate the collaboration and communication across the owners to build ground capacity through Ground Gateway Terminals (GGT) and the necessary infrastructures for when the business needs them. For the service launch and planned service expansions this translates to 450+ sites across 60+ countries needed by 2030. We work backward from the need by date dictated by service launch/expansion to develop unique project plans. These plans are 2-5 years long and we guide the owners to progress/resolve their technical and non-technical issues to meet milestones deadline. We directly partner with a dozen orgs and several VPs including Legal, Regulations, BizOps, Finance, Network engineering, Ground systems, Entities, Global trade, Operations, Supply chain, Government services, IT and Digital services, Licensing, and Security. We also report the progress and escalate/ask for help when deadlines cannot be met and share insights to business impact of such delays. Not only we deliver these sites but we also own their financial health and ensure we stay on budget and support country level P&Ls profitability.

Key job responsibilities

  • Developing country strategy to provide ground capacity for service launch/expansion.

  • Tracking Gateways delivery health and holding owners across a dozen teams accountable and escalating when risk arises.

  • Managing finances of each site

  • Coordinating legal entities and proper licenses for each site

  • Effectively navigating operational complexities in different countries, many of which Amazon has no presence in, that have language and cultural barriers.

  • Communicating the progress and challenges within the working team and during VP level MBRs.

Export Control Requirement:
