Technical Construction Project Manager (Multiple Positions), Tesla, Inc., Bellevue, WA:

Create code-compliant solar, storage, and EV charging construction plan sets for Tesla's turnkey commercial, industrial, and government projects. Analyze project constraints to optimize the design so that projects come in on time and under budget. Support decisions regarding system size, layout configuration, equipment selection, and constructability. Collaborate with other teams throughout the entire life cycle of a project. Provide support for site survey, permitting, pre-construction preparation, construction RFI (request for information) support, AHJ (authority having jurisdiction) and utility inspection, commissioning, and ongoing O&M (operations and maintenance) support. Support the sales pipeline by designing and rapidly iterating on pre-contract design proposals. Enable the estimator and project development teams to provide customer-facing design proposals along with accurate project estimates based on these sales designs.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week, $120,723.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in construction design for PV, Energy Storage, Microgrid, or EV charging projects. Alternatively, a Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Academic background, internship, or work experience to include: AutoCAD; Applying NEC (National Electric Code) and IBC (International Building Code); Reading and interpreting structural, civil, or electrical schematics; Analyzing common construction materials and methods for Energy project (PV, BESS or EV charging) deployment; and Energy modeling software and simulation tools including: PVSyst, or Helioscope.
