Kuiper Productivity Engineering is looking for a Support Engineer to lead activities delivering high quality solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on position with an emphasis on the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo). You will work directly with stakeholders and partner teams, use your expertise to drive operational excellence, and act as a Subject Matter Expert.

Key job responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert for Atlassian services (Jira, Confluence)

• Troubleshoot application issues and add-on integration issues in the Atlassian implementation.

• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure changes to implementations and integrations are gracefully handled.

• Determine ways to optimize/improve setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality may or may not meet user requests.

• Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.

• User management and support for users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance, and maintain best practices.

• Create and manage security schemes, custom fields and configurations.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

• Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings

• Experience in technical support

• Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow

• Administrative experience with Atlassian JIra and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications

• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $182,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
