This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It's Like: Our team is passionate about developing innovative solutions to safeguard T-Mobile's Cloud, Network and Telecom assets, including customer data. We focus on continuously enhancing the company's security posture, proactively evaluating applications and promptly remediating identified cyber threats. We also provide key security requirements and have close partnerships with several Technology teams. What You'll Do: Process automation to aid the team in working efficiently, innovate and create software applications, tools or dashboards. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and validate secure software applications. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and security. Develop and maintain automated security testing tools and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. What It Takes: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, with a focus on cybersecurity. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, cloud computing and security frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSDP, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, CISSP, CEH) are a plus Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12 months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.
