What You'll Do As an AI Hardware/Software Intern, your passion for innovation meets the future of AI-enhanced communication technologies. In this role, you'll work in a collaborative environment and explore the intersection of AI's physical hardware and software realms. This role offers the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the development of the AI ecosystem within telecommunications, contributing to projects that set the stage for innovative communication solutions. What It Takes A keen understanding of AI and ML principles, eager to apply these in innovative ways to both hardware and software contexts. Familiar with the intricacies of hardware architecture and the principles of software development, especially as they relate to AI. A creative problem solver who enjoys both solo missions and the synergy of teamwork. An articulate communicator, capable of sharing ideas and contributing to documentation effectively. Driven by a desire to leverage AI for groundbreaking advancements in telecommunications. Key Responsibilities Collaborate in the design and evolution of AI solutions tailored for both hardware and software platforms within our telecommunications landscape. Partner with our technology and product teams to deepen your understanding of AI's role in enhancing device functionality and user experiences. Investigate and propose applications of emerging AI and ML technologies to elevate our hardware devices and software offerings. Take part in the exciting journey of prototype development, from testing AI models on hardware to crafting software applications, assessing their impact on performance and user satisfaction. Help tackle the challenges of integrating AI across different technological domains, ensuring a seamless user experience. Document your journey, sharing insights, breakthroughs, and best practices on AI implementation in the telecom sector. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with a strong emphasis on AI/ML. At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hr to $40/hour.
