Staff Software Development Engineer (Multiple Positions), Tesla, Inc., Bellevue, WA:
Design, build, and operate core security infrastructure used by all of Tesla's engineering team. Build centralized security controls for multi-cloud environments. Design and build solutions that will advance Tesla's security capabilities including, zero trust networking, cloud security, container security, SOAR, and user behavior analytics. Partner with infrastructure teams to build and execute roadmaps aligned with a security strategy. Develop a cloud security strategy in collaboration with other security organizations within Tesla. Evaluate, build the prototype for new security tools, develop new security capabilities, and incrementally improve the maturity of existing security capabilities. Lead security initiatives, run remediation campaigns, and advocate best practices. Develop tools and solutions to create paved roads for application teams.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week, $210,000.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and seven (7) years of experience in security infrastructure development. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and five (5) years of experience in security infrastructure development.
Must have experience in:
- Cloud service provider including: AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Cloud service architecture, security concepts, and implementing security controls;
- Web technologies including: Java Springboot, ReactJS, Angular JS, Rest API development, Kubernetes, Azure Data Bricks, AWS and Azure ETL tools;
- Network, application security, infrastructure hardening, container security, security baselines, or cloud misconfiguration;
- Programming using: Java, Python, Go, or GIT;
- CI/CD Pipeline;
- Containerization using: Kubernetes, or Docker;
- Splunk or Elastic;
- SAML, OAuth and OIDC; and
- Linux
