Robert Half Sr. SOX Auditor in Bellevue, Washington

Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Sr. SOX Auditor based in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves the execution and support of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) procedures to ensure compliance across different areas. It also requires frequent interaction with senior management, divisions, subsidiaries, external auditors, and corporate accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) methodology, reporting, and compliance efforts, focusing on SOX 404 compliance.

• Assist with SOX 404 compliance scoping and scheduling activities, contributing to the timely completion of compliance efforts annually.

• Act as a key contact for external auditors, addressing their queries and comments.

• Collaborate with the Internal Audit group when necessary, including participation as a guest auditor.

• Execute remediation testing for audit findings.

• Support conferences for audit committees and controller organizations.

• Assist in managing the audit management system.

• Advocate for Accounting and Financial Reporting macro business processes.

• Establish effective working relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, and Operations.

The salary range for this position is $96,000 to $151,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs.

• Familiarity with Business Systems and their applications.

• Knowledge of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (CobiT) is required.

• Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of various Accounting Functions.

• Experience in presenting to and working with Audit Committees.

• Competence in documenting and communicating Audit Findings.

• Proven track record in executing Auditing tasks.

• Ability to develop and manage effective Audit Plans.
