If so, our Data Protection Technologies and Compliance (DPTC) team is searching for an impactful Sr Software Engineer to join us taking the next big leap forward responsible for a portfolio of enterprise collaboration, communication, and automation services! Our Sr Software Engineers are an extended part of the DPTC team within Innovative Data Solutions. The DPTC team's Vision is to be T-Mobile's Privacy Champions as we empower, protect and implement the privacy choices of everyone who uses T-Mobile products and services. We innovate responsibly, and continuously improve our products and processes safeguarding individual privacy as technology evolves. We are looking for a premier Sr Software Engineer implementing Privacy regulations, data architecture, microservices architecture, AI/ML, & messaging to deliver scalable technology solutions that align with T-Mobile's NorthStar products, platforms and architecture vision. This individual is encouraged to work with our privacy, legal, business partners to launch new innovative features while keeping Privacy Compliance at the forefront. Responsibilities: Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Encouraged to mentor associate level engineers as needed. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Encouraged to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which use new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service. Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more efficiently through industry perspectives. Understands the creation of company IPR. Collaborates with technical teams and applies system expertise to deliver technical solutions. Continuously learns and guides others existing and new technologies. Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions. Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals. Understands current technology that supports business goals. Partners with system engineers to define system requirement and/or vital requirements for automation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 4-7 years Technical engineering experience; FullStack developer Strong experience and Privacy domain knowledge in launching Privacy & Compliance Products to support regulations such as CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, TCPA etc. Proficient in the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Vue.js , SpringBoot, Kafka, ElasticSearch, MySQL, MongoDB, REST API and Postman Experience monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Splunk Experience with Kubernetes Experience with PCF Experience working with Agile methodology such as Sprints or Kanban Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work
