As Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Human Rights, you will work under the leadership of the SR Program Lead to implement solutions and mechanisms to meet Amazon’s human rights principles and Supply Chain Standards and to ensure our suppliers are compliant with those.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible of driving special projects such as:

  • Develop solutions that ensure that suppliers have the understanding and tools needed to proactively identify and address human rights risks (low touch monitoring and reporting tool)

  • Work together with S2PE team to build compliance mechanisms to ensure the inclusion of pre-screening questions in the RFI/RFP process for all Ops vendors (Supplier Connect and in any manual process)

  • Integration of required SCS acknowledgment in the vendor selection, onboarding and contracting processes.

  • Facilitate discussions with internal teams and select external stakeholders to design and test supply chain risk management mechanisms and strategies.

  • Partner with WW SR to put in place additional controls for labor provider sourcing.

  • Implement due diligence solutions to identify and address any potential risks in the supply chain

  • Partner with WW SR Moringa team to compliance with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) standards across our entire supply chain, ensuring all suppliers adhere to the instituted human rights and ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, finance, sustainability, or similar

  • Experience in procurement, contracts, or negotiation

  • 8+ years of working experience

  • Experience and proficiency in project management

  • Experience with Procurement or risk assessment tool (eg. Ecovadis)

  • Experience in People management

  • Good level of communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS)

  • Experience in Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Experience working in risk mitigation, compliance function, internal controls, legal, Human Rights compliance, labor employment, transportation or supply chain experience.

  • Experience in managing projects or/and case management or/and experience in improving process.

  • Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different organizations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
