Amazon Logistics is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our North America Delivery Service Partner (NA DSP) business to cross-functionally define our mid-term capacity planning strategy. The NA DSP team is responsible for managing and growing the network of professional contract organizations that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. The DSP Mid-Term Capacity Planning team is central to achieving the program objectives of DSP Last Mile Delivery by designing structure to optimally allocate routes to our DSPs across the delivery network.The Sr. Program Manager, Capacity will be responsible for building the mid-term capacity planning strategy for the DSP Program, which involves determining route allocations to our DSPs. The Sr. Program Manager will work across planning, tech, operations and business teams to understand drivers of over or under capacity situations and implement flexible solutions. This is a highly visible role with senior leaders and decisions makers across Amazon operations. The Sr. Program Manager will regularly lead business and planning reviews and use an analytical approach balanced by business judgment to determine optimal strategies.Responsibilities include:* Building DSP route allocation strategies* Partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams* Improving performance of the network across key performance metrics* Communicating strategy, status, and results to senior leadership* Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering, Transportation, Operations Research or other Operations disciplines* 5+ years of experience in program or product management* MBA and/or advanced degree in a technical discipline* Experience using data to identify and solve ambiguous problems* Proficiency in Excel* Track record of taking ownership and driving results* Excellent professional writing and communication skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
