Here's an opportunity to transform how Amazon moves packages through its network by optimizing and automating trailer positioning. Our team is developing complex optimization and
machine learning algorithms, so that we have the best forecast for Middle Mile movements. We lower costs and reduce CO2 emissions.
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager-Tech to tackle product challenges, to solve concrete real world problems, and to build innovative solutions in a fast paced environment working with smart, and passionate software developers and research scientists.
To date, you will have successfully worked in a technology environment, developing products that automate processes or providing users with experiences they love. You are able to synthesize a variety of needs, and translate them into tools and intelligence that solve specific pain-points. You actively contribute to product design decisions, are innovative, uses the power of data and are laser focused on measuring and improving the success metrics of products you own. You are adept at working across cross-disciplinary teams, making hard prioritization choices, and ensuring complete visibility of your product roadmap to stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Define 3 year product vision for a collection of product areas.
Gain VP-level alignment on product vision.
Define the feature sets, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for your products.
Learn from user feedback, metrics, and other data sources to craft improvements and ensure we are building the right features over time.
Make prioritization decisions and own trade-offs between user needs, product quality and development effort.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Master's degree
7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
