WWR&R includes business, product, program, operational, data, and software engineering teams, who together manage the lifecycle of returned and damaged products.

WWR&R owns the services and programs for FBA Sellers to choose their customer returns and value recovery options. In this role, you will own the FBA ReCommerce P&L. You will use your financial acumen to uncover areas of opportunity and then create a strategy to monetize a portfolio of products. This includes creating a multi-year roadmap of product solutions that will impact the P&L.

You will serve as the liaison between the Seller and tech teams to justify, define, prioritize, and build the right features to solve Seller pain points. At the same time, you will work cross-functionally to align stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Account Management, Transportation, Operations, Tech, UX, and worldwide Seller-facing teams on your vision.

Key job responsibilities

-Alongside finance partners manage, dive deep, and influence inputs into the FBA P&L

-Understand the financials of your business so that you can model the financial impact of your products

-Create product roadmaps and product vision documents to influence leadership to build your initiatives

-Complete research to vet new ideas and confirm hypotheses

A day in the life

-Deep dive into the FBA metrics using SQL, Excel, or another data visualization tool so that you can identify a target audience for your features

-Work with finance partners to draft financial models to influence fee strategy

-Refine user stories and acceptance criteria by meeting with external stakeholders and communicate the changes to your tech partners

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • High proficiency user of Microsoft Office products like Excel and Word and demonstrated experience using data visualization software and SQL

  • Experiencing owning a P&L

  • Strong financial acumen to understand tradeoffs to Amazon's business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication skill

  • Experience with financial models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
