We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own and develop new products and services aimed at expanding our Community Insights capabilities. In this role, you will create the vision for Community Insights product suite expansion. You will be customer centric and creative, have a knack for developing compelling user stories, crisply defining customer and product requirements and own the product roadmap for new services. You will develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but will also be willing to roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business acumen, the ability to influence cross-functional teams and strong analytical skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy and roadmap - building and launching products that support global communities

• Partner with cross-organizational teams (across function, level and geography) in World Wide Operations to influence the development and launch of new products and services

• Own and manage the product roadmap, making data driven tradeoffs, and balancing customer needs versus technical or operational constraints

• Make smart tradeoffs, coordinate dependencies, and maintain communication to guarantee smooth and efficient product delivery

• Write Press Release Frequently Asked Questions (PRFAQs) critical business docs to influence strategy and funding

• Deep dive into data to understand user behavior, uncover insights and monitor launch / product performance

• Bridge the gap between model builders and customers. The customers are Operations teams, Sustainability, Last Mile, Community facing teams, Employee Relations, Public Policy, etc...

• Ability to travel 15% each quarter

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
