A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with experts across the legal department to assist in designing and implementing creative, simple solutions to address complex challenges. What you'll do in your role. Proactively manage cases for employment-related lawsuits, charges, and claims, including coordinating with in-house and outside counsel, conducting initial fact gathering, implementing, and maintaining litigation holds, identifying and gathering responsive documents and information, scheduling and participating in witness interviews, reviewing discovery, pleadings, and other case documentation. Analyze and respond to employment-related third-party subpoenas and other requests for records, including identifying and gathering responsive documents and information. Support cross-functional projects as an employment law/compliance resource. Support the employment law team's e-Discovery processes and systems. Creatively work to improve processes within the employment law team. The experience you'll bring. Minimum of 4-7 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in labor and employment law. 2-year college degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience E-Discovery certification from an accredited agency such as ACEDS is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Experience with: MS Office Suite as well as knowledge of HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (Workday). Knowledge of legal matter management and document management systems such as Collaborati and iManage. Ability to effectively interface with various groups within the legal department and across the company. Knowledge and experience with E-discovery, including preservation, collection, processing, analysis, and production.
