We are looking for a Sr. Operations Manager with a proven ability to think big and lead long term strategic initiatives to innovate our global operation. This position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution. This role requires working with globally distributed teams to open new regions and resolve some of the biggest operational problems the organization faces. This role is also responsible for developing /communicating /executing project plans to drive resolution. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive presentation skills, and proven track record of delivering results are essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional project teams to plan, organize, and execute service supplier initiatives and projects to scale-ready state

  • Drive service supplier performance improvements

  • Prepare and deliver data-driven operational business reviews to senior management as required

  • Works on strategic projects that have total building and network-wide impact

  • Establishes objectives and metrics for suppliers to ensure quality, productivity and scalability

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
