Business Sales Sr. Manager TFB Data Governance 187514BRJob DescriptionThis role offers analytically-minded candidates the opportunity to be a part of one of T-Mobile's fastest-growing divisions-T-Mobile for Business (TFB). As Sr. Manager, Data Governance, you will lead a team to develop data policies, processes, and standards to support data governance for TFB organization. In addition, your team will manage requirements for TFB data products, maintains data models, definitions, and measures, and assure alignment with transactional applications (through SLDC) and data product development. You and your team will be a trusted partner with the business data owners and IT, work closely with the TFB Data Engineering and TFB Data Enablement within the TFB Data Transformation group, and collaborate with TFB functions (Marketing, Operations, Products, Sales, Wholesale, Partners, etc.) and our Enterprise Technology Services teams. This role reports to the Director, Data Transformation on the TFB Digital Transformation team.Functional GroupTMobile for BusinessLocationWA507-WA-Headquarters, Building 1Location Address3617 131st Ave SECityBellevueStateWashingtonZip98006Travel Required?NoResponsibilitiesDrive and implement data strategy across TFB in alignment with TFB's corporate vision and strategy.Collaborate with the Business Domain Owners, data services leads, and Hub leadership to establish data policies, processes, and standards including enforcement of data quality, security, and management concepts.Oversee the development of enforcement mechanisms for ensuring policies, processes, and standards are followed.Responsible for ensuring that TFB's data is managed according to enterprise policies including IT security, legal, and risk.Oversee creation and enforcement of Data Governance policies, processes, and procedures for Business resources.Oversee enterprise enforcement of common business language and associated meta-data management; coordinates with Information Integration Team on documentation.Coordinate with Business Data Owners, Business Data Stewards, and Hub Data Governance Lead to enforce data governance and data transformations across the enterprise.Oversee all formal communications on data strategy and data management at TFB.Coordinate Business Requirements for Data Products and Platforms across the Business Data Owners.Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Models and map to source system Application Data Models and Data Warehouse schemas.Align proposed changes to Application Data Models with the Enterprise Data Model.Design source system ADM transformations to incorporate into the data warehouse, often through rapid prototyping. Research data quality issues, identify root causes, engage with system, process, and data owners to apply corrective actions.Develop and maintain monitoring reports and processes to measure and maintain data quality across key systems and the data warehouse.Document your findings and propose updates to data models and data dictionaries.Hire and manage team members with the requisite skills and experiences.Document or communicate vision with sufficient level of specificity so that work can be divided and conquered by members of the technical team, and so that assumptions can be challenged by business team.Plan incremental steps towards that vision.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with partner teams in a collaborative team environment, especially when engaging system, process, and data owners, to "own" data quality and take corrective action. Track and report progress against data quality metrics and goals.Develop and maintain documentation on data quality approaches, metrics, and processes.Q
