Are you passionate about building and managing world-class network infrastructure that powers global commerce? Amazon is seeking a visionary Senior Manager to lead our Network Infrastructure team supporting Amazon's global Operations network.

In this critical role, you'll be at the helm of one of the world's most advanced and extensive network ecosystems. You'll drive the strategies that ensure seamless connectivity across our global facilities, from expansive fulfillment centers to last-mile delivery stations, keeping millions of packages flowing seamlessly across the globe.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale LAN, WAN, and wireless networks across Amazon's operational facilities worldwide

  • Spearhead the adoption of latest network technologies, including SDN (Software-Defined Networking), SD-WAN, and next-gen Wi-Fi solutions

  • Oversee network security strategies to protect Amazon's critical infrastructure from emerging threats

  • Drive innovation in IoT connectivity to support advanced automation in our fulfillment and delivery operations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network capabilities with evolving business needs

What You'll Bring:

  • Deep expertise in enterprise network architectures, protocols, and technologies

  • Strong background in wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 6/6E and private 5G networks

  • Experience with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale network transformation projects

  • Strong understanding of network security best practices and compliance requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership in both technical and non-technical roles.

  • Experience leading teams responsible for the design and operations of mission critical infrastructure

  • 10+ years of industry experience in a similar environment.

  • Hands-on engineering experience in networking, large-scale distributed systems or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on large scale projects.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to Dive Deep and Think Big.

  • Proven track record of success conceptualizing and delivering engineering solutions to customers.

  • Solid understanding of software development, complex network and systems architecture.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $187,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
