Together, we won't stop! The Product Managers at T-Mobile are innovators, strategists, analysts, and customer evangelists who guide Digital product development from conception to launch. Working in close collaboration with Engineers, Designers, Researchers, Marketers, and Business teams, the Digital Product Manager aligns priorities and drives a software development roadmap that will ultimately transform how we do business at T-Mobile. The Senior Manager of Product Management, Commerce will lead a team of Product Managers specifically passionate about transforming the journey for how customers learn about and purchase T-Mobile products and services across touchpoints with our brand. They are the authorities in selling products at the intersection of the wireless industry and digital world. Familiarity with operating in a highly matrixed organization where leadership is defined by influence and not just ownership is a requirement. The Senior Manager of Product Management, Commerce will understand T-Mobile's strategic competitive edge and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry. The Senior Manager is also responsible for hiring and retaining a successful team of Product Managers / Owners, and Managers to support products and platforms. Job Responsibilities: Works in collaboration with Director, peers and team to develop strategy, plan, goals (outcomes) for their scope of business. Drive cross-functional alignments with various teams including Engineering, Design, Research, Marketing and various business teams to understand current product experiences, identifies areas of opportunity and prioritize feature development. Maintains current understanding of the telecom industry and ecommerce. Assesses how trends impact the roadmap or build opportunity for innovation of the products. Collaborates with partners and vendors in analyzing the potential impacts and incorporates analyses into product process. Sr. Manager may also own lifecycle management of multiple Commerce Products. The responsibilities include crafting, managing, maintaining, and presenting product vision and strategy. Development of Reasons for product development and owns the product vision and strategy. Develops organizational change and regularly cascades Vision, Strategy to set goals with corporate priorities from executives to direct reports. Regularly provides review and mentorship to Product Management team on execution related responsibilities. Drives accountability, from both T-Mobile and vendors regarding implementation, service levels and adherence to T-Mobile's contractual terms. Ensures Product Team follows enterprise process to secure and maintain product funding. Works to resolve any blockers or issues with product funding. Coordinates activities/communication between internal teams and vendors. Partners with leadership to help resolve back-office budget for projects, products, and areas of improvement on cost savings and service quality. Assists direct reports with ongoing prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered. Collaborates and gives creation of development plans for each direct report and builds leadership opportunities for direct reports. Builds, communicates, and monitors formal performance improvement plan (PIP) when vital and appropriate. Provides regular, timely mentoring lateral (peer) and upward feedback.
