The Sr. Director of AI & Data Engineering leads the architecture, design, development, and implementation of end-to-end data and AI products across the Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain organization and will establish excellence strategically and operationally as we deliver on the following - *Establishing scalable patterns aligned with T-Mobile northstar architecture *Data Ingest / Egress (pipeline development and system integrations) *Data Product Development (against a data model reflecting FP&SC business process) *Data Platform Development (enhancing FP&SC COE's Lakehouse to continue to follow best practices) In this capacity, the Sr. Director is focused on supporting business decisions through the sustainment of existing platforms and the development and deployment of intelligent data products, platforms, capabilities, architectures, information products and AI products that drive business outcomes. Un-carrier Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of production ready solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure in the cloud using defined enterprise design patterns. Establish and drive the strategic direction for end-to-end information solutions in alignment with strategic priorities and enterprise direction; and lead a leadership team in solving enterprise issues concerning information management to improve information quality, reliability, and scalability. Promote the development of innovative products, such as AI, in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. Support investigation of new software packages/vendors, platforms, and capabilities to deliver quality, reliable, and scalable information, and AI products. Lead and support other business initiatives across the team with flexibility and a willingness to pitch and bring added value. The Experience You'll Bring Activate vision & strategy: Demonstrated success building and leading vision, strategy, and execution of foundational data and information product initiatives, including experience with driving successful platform adoption programs, with the ability to demonstrate the business impact of such initiatives. Assess the business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs. Data driven mindset: you know that everything built must be measured to understand its impact on the business and drive your teams to build with that in mind. Experience facilitating data driven decisions is critical as you analyze, plan, and manage the development of information products. A deep understanding and passion for solving complex system and data challenges and desire to thrive in a constantly innovating, changing and collaborative environment. Customer centricity: you understand that customer behavior and sentiment must be well understood to effectively build products for them, so you'll bring a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and operational business partners, to identify data requirements and ensure data availability for various stakeholders.
