Responsible for performing user-centered design activities related to products and/or web applications. The role will work with product and development teams to understand their design requirements and develop creative solutions for meeting those needs. * Leads creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns. * Establishes, evolves and evangelizes design strategy across the company. * Communicates best practices for design and reasoning behind UX decisions to key stakeholders. User Experience * Provides constructive feedback on peer designs. * Produces sketches, workflow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, design guidelines and style guides. * Works across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements. * Teams up with User Researchers and other Designers to maintain consistency across the digital ecosystem and solve cross-application design challenges. * Collaborates with IT partner teams to understand the technical possibilities and constraints. * Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by conducting usability testing and interpreting analytics data. * Educates on the importance of following a User-centered Design process. * Contributes to the creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns. * Demonstrates ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Relationship and People Management * Guides, mentors and inspires other designers in the team, keeping up with the design industry evolution including best practices, new trends and technologies. * Provides feedback and direction to ensure intuitive and innovative solutions and drive consistency following established design principles, guidelines and patterns. * Collaborates internally and externally to continuously evolve team process and design practice. * Creates an environment that fosters internal and cross team collaboration. Base Pay Range: $97,300 - $175,500 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
