The Broadband Business Intelligence team is responsible for partnering closely with the broadband marketing and commercial teams to provide key, actionable insights around the performance of the broadband business unit. We are seeking a candidate with experience in analyzing the commercial impacts of marketing strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate should have a curiosity for digging into detailed data to investigate the implications of marketing tactics, commercial tactics, and customer experience impacts, with the intent of surfacing insights to key leaders. As a Senior Data Scientist, you are responsible for leading the application of statistical methods to solve business problems. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of technical and non-technical business stakeholders on a wide range of challenges. You must demonstrate expertise across problem framing, data collection, exploratory data analysis, model development, deployment, and performance measurement. Present advanced business insights and findings in succinct and creative ways using data visualizations for a broad audience, including executive level communication (VP, SVP). This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week. Job Responsibilities: Extract, prepare and model large, complex data sets using a combination of skills, including machine learning theory, mathematics, statistics, and programming. Deliver on-time quality analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of data into effective, concise, and actionable recommendations that enable intelligent decisioning for the company. Provide senior-level guidance and mentorship to the team, including reviewing projects, models, and code for peers in data science roles and those in analyst roles. Work with data engineering teams to implement and improve production-ready analytical datasets. Effectively communicate important information and insights to business leaders using verbal, written, and data visualization skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Discipline (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.); Master's/Advanced degree preferred. 4 years with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) 2 years with big data architecture and pipeline, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc. 4 years articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data 4 years creating data visualization 4 years working with relational database using SQL 2 years in the telecom/broadband industry preferred Strong communication skills, ability to work with cross functional teams At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Base Pay Range: $106,000 - $191,100 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
