Together, we won't stop! Sr. Data Domain Stewards are accountable for the implementation of data governance policy and standards for one or more assigned data domains. They are domain authorities for the data content, data relationships, and use of data within their data domains. They work closely with data governance leads, data stewards and data leads on the expectations, measurement, and implementation of T-Mobile data governance across the enterprise. Within these data domains, this role is owning the rollout of governance priorities, such as data quality, data lineage, systems of record, discovery, and usability of data. They are the interface governance at a practical level, being hands-on authorities, working with other hands-on guides to ensure T-Mobile data is handled optimally and supports the business efforts. Job Responsibilities: Function as the steward and authority on a set of data domains, drive the implementation and automation of data governance standards including data taxonomy, business glossary, metadata, lineage, retention and protection. Promote the benefits of governing data, articulate business benefit impact, and promote data governance implementation within across business and technology teams Be aware of the latest technological developments in the area governance tooling and participate in industry forums related to data governance Generate and publish relevant metrics and reports to appropriate data governance forums Partner with Data Quality Leads to supervise and analyze data quality and prepare a plan for remediation, collaborating with technology and business teams with a vested curiosity about the relevant data domains Provide inputs to data architecture team on identifying authoritative data sources, reviewing data models, and inputs on data quality issues remediation Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Work Experience: Required: 7 plus years data work experience with a variety of perspectives. 4 plus years business/technical liaison experience at various levels. Preferred: 2 plus years experience with data modeling. Certification in Data Management and Data Quality. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to gain trust, influence and steer a wide range of collaborators from executives to project leaders (Required) Knowledge of data management tools primarily for data quality monitoring, reporting and remediation to suit business needs (Required) Familiarity with and understanding of key industry standard processes in the field of Data Governance and specific data quality (Required) Ability to bring together and work with a team of people (data governance lead, data analysts, technical guides, process owners, content creators) to build solutions (Required) Proven collaborative approach; openly shares information and receptive to the ideas of others, effective in educating and influencing others, working with data owners and data stewards for other data subject areas (Required) Basic understanding of data architecture, data sources and data modelling (Preferred) * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No):No DOT Regulated: DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):No Washington Pay Range : $104,300.00 - $141,100.00 T
