Drive continuous improvement of our data architecture, identifying and addressing inefficiencies. Mentor and guide on best practices, architecture patterns, and new technologies. Engage with industry peers and vendors to stay ahead of the curve, leveraging the latest in data architecture innovations. Skill Requirements: Advanced skills on following categories of tools: Proficiency in cloud and on-prem platforms (e.g., Azure, Hadoop), coupled with experience with agile and CI/CD methodologies. A proven foundation in data lake, data lakehouse, and data warehouse technologies. Expertise in data pipeline design, programming (Java, Scala, Python), and administration. A rich understanding of data visualization, relational and NoSQL databases, and optimization techniques. Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with a penchant for detail and a passion for technology. Good understanding of various telco data domains like consumer, finance, network, products etc. a plus Certification in industry standard data architecture field or similar (e.g., CDMP) Knowledge of data architecture and design patterns Strong experience in Data Architecture Governance and Data DevOps practices Hands on experience in performing data architectural assessments, crafting data architectural options and analysis, finalizing a preferred solution working closely with technology and business partners. Work Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology related field, in lieu of a degree, equivalent validated experience may be considered. Validated experience working in solutions design, hands on building data platforms in cloud ecosystems, on-prem, hybrid cloud. To Include near real time data collection, data lake scaling/optimization, warehousing, event processing, data cataloging, and data observability in alignment with strategic technology roadmap and emerging industry trends 5-7 years Dynamic experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business sense and executive presence. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Architect Technologies, SnowPro Advanced: Data Architect) are desirable. <
