T-Mobile Sr Construction Project Coordinator in Bellevue, Washington

Come join our Corporate Real Estate team! In this role you will assist our Project Management team in coordinating contractors, vendors, and internal T-Mobile teams and processes, as we implement tenant improvement projects throughout T-Mobile’s non-retail portfolio, across North America. You will maintain constant oversight and ownership of project routines and processes, including meeting scheduling and minutes, financial tracking and forecasting, project closeout, and other important tasks vital to delivering world-class real estate solutions to a Fortune 40 company. You have self initiative and are proficient in supporting multiple PM’s and teams across the enterprise, while also being capable of mentoring other project coordinators.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Coordinates and processes documentation for project commitments (i.e., Agreements, Contracts, Work Authorizations, Purchase Orders)

  • Handles the collection of Tenant Improvement Allowance funds

  • Processes invoices and pay applications; assists PM team with monthly reclasses and accruals; maintains project files and directories.

  • Enters project information and data into project management technology tools (software applications, web-based tools, job cost accounting tools).

  • Completes project close-out procedures including archiving, receipts, collection of required documents, and coordinating lien releases

  • Maintains collaborative relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, general contractors, vendors, landlords, and other internal corporate real estate teams.

  • Trains new project support team on project policies, administration, and governance.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training, education, and experience in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or related to the Construction Industry).

  • 2+ years of project management experience in complex office environment.

  • Experience working with teams across multiple functions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all employee levels and levels of management.

  • Solid understanding of general accounting/costing practices including budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, and invoicing.

  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and handle multiple priorities.

  • Basic understanding of design and construction processes and familiarity with financials related to construction projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building trusted relationships.

  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to maintain composure under pressure.

  • Adept at reading and understanding real estate leases, exhibits, and work letters, especially as they relate to managing the tenant improvement allowance process, as applicable.

  • Experience working in a corporate real estate environment a plus

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work.
